"Masquerade "

This piece marks the beginning of a bold new chapter — the first in a series of 20 sculptures created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of my journey in Florida. Titled “Masquerade,” this work blends symbolism and transformation, capturing a sense of play, mystery, and evolving identity.

Crafted in layered shades of deep oceanic blue with swirling patterns, the figure embodies movement and growth. The mask atop the form represents the layers we reveal and shed as we grow — a nod to both celebration and introspection.

As part of the series “Each piece, one step further in my artistic evolution,” this sculpture is a declaration: the time has come to step forward, to create without restraint, and to honor two decades of artistic discovery through glass.

“Tides of Balance” embodies the harmony between movement and stillness. The two curved glass forms, in deep cobalt and tranquil aqua, rise in perfect equilibrium—each holding the other’s weight while embracing their unique textures and shades. The upper form speaks of ambition and forward motion, while the lower form reflects grounding and inner calm. Together, they mirror the ebb and flow of my own creative journey, reminding us that growth comes not only from motion, but also from moments of stillness.
