LULAC Council 1 – 2026 Distinguished Community Leaders Event
This special event celebrates National LULAC Week by honoring outstanding law enforcement leaders and recognizing the dedication of the United States Armed Forces. The evening brings together community members, civic leaders, and supporters to recognize individuals whose lives reflect courage, integrity, and service to others.
The event also highlights youth leadership and supports educational opportunities through scholarships that help local students pursue their college dreams. Held in Corpus Christi, Texas, this celebration reflects LULAC’s ongoing mission to strengthen communities through leadership, education, and service.
The flowing layers of blue represent strength, trust, and stability, while the rich copper and earth tones evoke resilience, courage, and the enduring spirit of community leadership. As light passes through the glass, the colors interact and shift, revealing depth and movement that reflect the dynamic impact of those being honored. Each piece is kiln-cast and carefully finished by hand, allowing organic textures and natural variations to emerge. No two sculptures are identical, reinforcing the idea that every leader’s contribution is unique.
Mounted on a solid base with engraved recognition and the LULAC emblem, this award stands as both a symbol of honor and a lasting work of art—celebrating dedication, service, and the positive influence of community leadership.
